- The story... In 2000 my wife leased her first BMW Z3 2.3. She drove the vehicle to work each day for the life of the lease which ended in October 2003. 26k miles were put on the car. One day, before the lease was over i took the Z3 to run my errands and was totally blown away by this little German car. The handling, the speed, and most of all the fun i had while driving it. That was it, i was hooked!
After the lease ran out i bought the car for myself. I kept the car in the garage for about a year and just drove it sparingly. Today the car has only 27k miles and still runs like new. It has a few paint chips and tiny dings due to 3 years of commuting to work, but i'll be taking care of those by the end of this year.
And so the madness begins... ride with me on my Z3 project as i mod this little car.
